The cameras switched backstage where Alexa Bliss stood next to Renee Young. Renee looked uneasy as Alexa Bliss eyed her up and down. Being professional, Renee raised the microphone to her lips and begun the interview in her normal manner.
"Alexa, tonight you have a chance to prove yourself against the EBWF Women's Champion, Natalya."

"Prove myself? Did I hear you correctly Renee?
I don't have to prove myself to anyone. I'm the best woman in the EBWF right now and that's all the proof that you need. Do you understand that Renee?"

"Some have said you've fallen from where you were this time last year."

RENEE YOUNG

Alexa shook her head as she stared at Renee.
"Last year Renee, I was the EBWF Women's Champion. Last year, I won the Royal Rumble. I won against Trish Stratus at WrestleMania. I dominated.
And I would have done all the same things, just a different competitor, this year if it wasn't for that New York reject, Liv Morgan."

"Liv Morgan is from New Jersey."

"Renee, do you know what New Jersey is? New Jersey is New York's dumpsite. All of New York's trash ends up there. That's why I'm sure Liv Morgan is from New Jersey in the first place. She tried to live in New York, but they tossed her in New Jersey,
just like all the other trash."

Alexa looked disgusted just talking about New Jersey and Liv Morgan.
"We were talking about your match with Natalya."

RENEE YOUNG

"Yes Renee. I was just trying to mention how this match. It should have happened at WrestleMania. The outcome would have been the same as it will be tonight. I would have beat Natalya, just like I did her ex-bestie Trish Stratus. I wouldn't have failed like Liv Morgan didn't. If I got the shot at WrestleMania. Natalya, wouldn't even still be Women's Champion."

Alexa turned her head sharply back to Renee after looking away for just a second.
"I sound sure, because I am sure. How do you not understand this Renee?"

Renee didn't say anything, she just stood there and shook her head.
"I'm the best. Simply put. Not Natalya.
Not Trish Stratus. Not Liv Morgan. Me Renee. Me. ME. ME!!!"

Alexa stomped her foot in frustration.
"Last year when I was the EBWF Women's Champion,
the ratings. They went through the roof. I was driving the EBWF to new heights that it has never seen before. I was taking it all on my shoulders Renee. So women like you. Women like Natalya. Women like Liv Morgan. I was running with this company on my back so that you all could still have a damn job. I did that Renee. I turned the Women's Division around and I was on the way to making it great again. Until Sasha Banks got lucky. Then came Natalya next.
Both of those women Renee. They won the championship and they did nothing with it. Natalya is still doing nothing with it.
She's getting to hold onto MY title for an extended time because why? Because she's defending it against actual challengers? No.
Natalya has sat on that title since the day that she's won it."

Alexa shook her head and closed her eyes as she continued.
"Who has Natalya defended that titles against Renee? Huh? Who? No one. That's right Renee. Paige. Liv Morgan. Now Eva Marie.
EVA FRICKING MARIE..."

Alexa had to pause once again after saying the name of the woman she beat two weeks ago.
"In her prime, Paige could have maybe been a contender, but now-a-days. The three of those girls together wouldn't make up the contender that I am when it comes to MY title. Do you understand that Renee?"

"But at WrestleMania, you lost to Eva Marie."

RENEE YOUNG

"I didn't lose! Velvet Sky, she lost. If I was getting pinned, I would have kicked out. Just because Velvet can't get off her back for 3 seconds, doesn't mean I lost. I proved that I'm better when I beat Eva after WrestleMania. So if it was one on one.
If Velvet Sky wasn't there to ruin it. I would be number one contender. This match against Natalya would be for the EBWF Women's Championship. And here in the matter of hours I would be champion once again."

"So than you're saying that you're going to beat Natalya here tonight."

RENEE YOUNG

"I'm not only going to beat Natalya tonight.
I'm going to make it so there is no denying that I'm suppose to be Women's Champion. That's going to be the proof out there tonight. Not if, but when I beat Natalya tonight. She's going to have to take a long look in the mirror and wonder just how many days she can squander up until she has to defend that championship against a real challenger. Because once that times comes, Natalya and all her hopes and dreams of still being dominate in this industry. They're going to end. I did it to Trish Stratus. I'll do it to Natalya too."
