All the seats in the Talking Stick Resort Arena were empty. An ominous feel was in the air as the stagehands all put the finishing touches onto the stage and ring. The arena was nearly ready and in just over 24 hours, the EBWF Royal Rumble wound be in full swing. Every seat in the arena would be filled. The historic night would take place as the EBWF World Championship would be on the line for the first time ever in the Royal Rumble Match.

These were the thoughts that went through the head of the only man who sat up in the bleachers of the arena. Way up in the nosebleed section, PJ Black, the former EBWF World Champion, sat alone. He sat there and stared down at the workers scramble to make sure everything was perfect.

The camera switched, closer to PJ Black now. The cameraman walked through the seats as they neared the former champion as he contemplated where he'd be tomorrow night. Black looked up as the camera stopped right in front of him.

"Tomorrow night, history will be made in that ring. Thirty men will do battle in an event that has a long history in EBWF all on it's own, however, this time it's different. Normally, those thirty men would be fighting for their shot to main event the WrestleMania. The biggest and grandest stage of them all. The show that every man in this industry thrives to be on. If they don't, then they're either lying to you or they're in the wrong business. But tomorrow is different. Tomorrow, it's not just a chance to headline on of the biggest shows of all time, but this time. This time, for the first time ever, the Royal Rumble Match will be for the EBWF World Championship itself. My EBWF World Championship."

Black pointed at himself as he talked about the championship. He spoke with passion when he mentioned the belt.

"You're going to hear a lot of men come out and stake their claim. You're going to hear them drone on and on about how they're the top pick going into tonight. They're going to say they've worked their entire lives for this moment. They're going to say they're a lock to win this rumble. That they deserve it. They deserve it. Did you all enter the twilight zone and I missed the shuttle? Do you all really think that you've done enough in this company to deserve to become the EBWF World Champion. Do you all really believe that you deserve to make history tonight. So I ask this question to each and every one of you. I ask, what have you done? What have any of you done to deserve this. Havoc and Jericho? What have the two of you done to deserve the EBWF World Championship? Sure Chris, you've made one hell of a name for yourself over the years. You've done held the championship more times than anyone. Congrats. But lately, you an Havoc have been to busy trying to one up each other that you two have forgotten anything else that has been going on in this company. Miz, Jeff Hardy, Randy Orton. You're all past champions in your own right. On top of that, you all are grasping at straws to keep yourselves relevant in this business. See, the company, it's continue to grow. It's changing. It's evolving. The three of you, you're not. Whether you like it or not, none of you have managed to keep yourself known in this business over the last few years. Sure Miz, you've got the EBWF Gateway Championship, but really, who have you defended that championship against lately? I'm actually asking you, who? Edge. Styles. The two of you know what I think about you. Yet here we are again. Neither of you have even stepped up since losing the EBWF World Champion. Just like I said, you come, you get handed a few things, and they you tuck your tails and you walk are you asses right back out the door until you need some more money. Then you get on your speed dial and phone up Wes Ikeda who is more than willing to give you whatever you want. He'll let you use the company jet to fly in whenever you want, which after the rumble will be what? WrestleMania? King of the Ring?"

He shook his head as he looked disgusted.

"Then we have to special patients of the EBWF retirement home. Mick Foley and Bret Hart. One who's done it all in this business and the other who gave it all for this business. Both of which do not belong in this match. Wes, if you want to bring back the relics of the past, then you need to start an annual Gimmick Battle Royal, because that's all these two are good for anymore, just their gimmicks. I mean serious, check Vegas. I don't think there's been any bets saying that Bret Hart or Mick Foley will win the match. It's a waste of space for people who could actually handle taking this company into the future. Now I'm not trying to spit in the face of the men that have lead the way in the past. As I said, all the old timers in this rumble this year, they've all done something special in this business, and they all deserve to be remembered. Remembered, not paraded around to relive the glory days. Bret Hart may have been the "Best there was", but I'm the "Best there is, and the best there ever will be" in this company. But because of his history, Bret Hart has earned the number thirty spot. A spot that has the greatest odds of winning was wasted on someone who doesn't stand a chance of making it out of the rumble on his own two feet. Take last year, Samoa Joe. He was lucky enough to draw number thirty. And being the freshest in the ring, he won. But "Hitman" you won't have the same luck. Which honestly might be the only reason you have the number thirty spot. Not because EBWF has faith that you can win, but because they know if you last too long in the event, a "Hart Attack" won't just be your theme song."

He took a pause as he collected his thoughts.

"Now, let's talk about the so called "future" of EBWF. We've had a lot a new faces announced to make their debuts in this match. Which I ask you Wes, are these really the faces that you want to run your company? You have another hick from England. You have someone more flamboyant than Orlando Jordan, who believes he's living a "dream". Is this really the future that you want to go to? Is this really where you want to take your company? You and I don't get alone Wes, but I can honestly assume that you've either been joining AJ Styles for some late night hookah sessions, or Natty's been pulling some rough dominating things in the bedroom that's knocked a few screws loose. This future, it's not what's best for this company. I don't know if you've been check in on the product lately, but the last guy you got from England, you know the so called, "King of Goths", yeah him. He came in strong, but since losing his boys in The Broken, he hasn't really been living up to his hype. So why do you think bringing in more boys from England will solve anything? And the pansexual.. Do you really think that's the man, and I use that term loosely, leading the roster as their champion. Do you really think that this is the way to go? I mean sure, equality for everyone, but you'll get more drama from this "dream" than putting the championship on a fifteen year old girl."

He shook his head, but continued on.

"Then we have all the "surprise" entrants in the rumble. Normally all these spots belong to more of Wes' friends who he wants to throw back into the lime light, which I get it. They're you "boys" and you have to make sure they continuously have some income. After all, you are a family man and they have families. But this little get together, it's gotta stop. See, just like with the elderly that you've brought in who have actually named themselves, these old timers that are too old and brittle to come out except for the rumble match, you know they're not do anything. Again, they're just faces that honestly should be in a gimmick match than one for the EBWF World Championship. All these "surprise" entrants, they're just fodder to make people believe that the EBWF roster has more depth than it truly does. No one is fooled by the little games, everybody knows that regardless the size of things, there is no one that can handle what I can do out in that ring."

Black pointed out to the ring as he spoke about it.

"Which brings us to all the men in this match that I could talk about. Noam Dar, Tommaso Ciampa, Bray Wyatt, and the list goes on. I can say things about each and every one of you, but then I would start to sound like a broken record because honestly, none of you belong in this match. That's right, I said it. None of you. Not one, deserves to be in this match. Sure, it's the Royal Rumble. This is the match that every man is equal and everyone has the same chance as anyone else, but that's that a myth. Especially with this rumble match being worth a whole lot more. The EBWF World Championship. The first man to win the belt in the Royal Rumble Match. All of these are just the reasons that none of you deserve this. The only man that deserves this is me. Like it or not. Believe it or not. The facts are the facts and there is not a single man in this rumble match that deserves this more that I do. I'm the rightful champion, who never got his rematch from a fluke victory that AJ Styles pulled out of his bag and smoked. I wasn't given my rematch because CM Punk decided to be a martyr for truth and justice and steal my moment. Then, when Punk vacated the EBWF World Championship, like it was trash, what did Havoc do? Havoc chose to put the EBWF World Championship up for grabs in the rumble match. Sure, I get it. Havoc is just trying to make a name for himself as General Manager. Trying to make history under his reign, but he's just as foolish as every other man in power has been for this company. Havoc, the smart choice for you would have been to put the championship back on the man who over the last two years has made this company his bitch. And that person is me."

He stabbed himself in the chest with his finger as he spoke with passion.

"I'm the man that took this company on his back in it's time of need and I've been the one who has busted his ass day in day out. Night in, night out. I've knocked down everyone that has been thrown in front of me, including yourself Havoc. Me. PJ Black. Everyone including myself knows that you're not stupider than the EBWF Universe, Havoc. I know that you know the best choice you could have made about the EBWF World Championship would have been to put it back on me. Then, just like with tradition, the winner of this Royal Rumble could face me at WrestleMania. Instead, you stole one persons WrestleMania moment from them. You stole it from them because you know that there isn't a man in this match that can compete on the same level as me. You know that there is no man in this match who can take the championship and do what I have done in this company since 2015. But you don't care, do you. No. Like I said, you've been playing around with Jericho for the better part of my entire dominance of this company. You've missed it all, except for me kicking your ass in your own choice of match. But then again, that's probably why you didn't give me the belt. You're hurt. Your ego is damaged. You want to abuse your power, just like Jericho. Just like Stone Cold. Just like everyone."

Black shook his head again as he leaned back in his chair.

"But all that doesn't matter. What's done is done, and tomorrow that ring will be filled with twenty-nine men who doesn't deserve what is being handed to them. Twenty-nine men who aren't up to the level that they need to be to carry this company into the future that I can carry it into. A future that everyone can be proud of. A future that will make EBWF the best promotion on the planet. So while there is twenty-nine men who don't deserves the EBWF World Championship, there is only one man who deserves the EBWF World Championship. There is only one man who deserves to lead this company. There is only one man who has earned the right to make history. One man. And that man is me."
